I don't know if any of you have ever stumbled onto these gems from Vitamin Records. But the String Quartet Tributes are some of the most beautiful band tribute albums I've ever heard. I am forever collecting them. The idea behind them is that they take popular music and create beautiful stringed instrumental versions of them using the typical string instruments found in a quartet with some added embellishments such as percussion. They create hauntingly beautiful versions of your favorite songs, and I can bet that at least one of your favorite bands has a tribute album. Yes, Violet, that includes HIM. My personal favorite? Their tribute to Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, especially their version of "Crawling." Here are a few videos featuring some of the great ones I've found so you can check them out: Crawling: Linkin Park My Immortal: Evanescence Vampire Heart: HIM With or Without You: U2 There's a nearly endless supply of others, so if you're interested check them out. They're so worth it.

Hahahaha Like I didn't know about the HIM tribute? I own it! Yeah, I really love what they do. Evanescence's tribute is my favorite though I've loved all of them.

Cool! I can see I'm not the only cultured one around here. Evanescense has a great tribute, I agree. The Snow Patrol tribute is also a great one, and both of the Linkin Park ones are awesome. Love them.
