You have a lot of energy. That is what our Jake needs right now. He is way too sad and you should cheer him up. Everybody needs to enjoy himself every once in a while!

I try to enjoy myself.
I keep thinking that because I am immortal I need to start acting like it. If I have to live forever I may as well have some confidence. Speaking to random people will not cause them to die. I have great control over my appetite, as I've mentioned before, so perhaps I need to be less afraid.
Going to a club tonight, wish me luck!

Bridget and I used to listen to music all the time together, and the habit kind of stuck. I still have old band tees from the 80's, for bands like Bon Jovi. I keep up on new music as much as possible, and keep listening to older ones as well. Right now I'm into bands that help me release my anger and sadness, like Disturbed. I get really passionate about Three Days Grace's song "Animal I Have Become" because if any song could express the way I feel about myself, that would be it.
I'm starting slow, with baby steps, when it comes to human interaction. Right now I just people-watch. I don't join in any conversations, I just sit in some corner at my own table and watch everyone else. I'm still not sure how to approach people.
By the way, lost maiden, where is my surprise? Laughter.

What a coincidence that u listen to Disturbed! I have my favorite song of theirs on my phone. It is called Down with the sickness. About your surprise, if u do not mind, u'll have to wait a little bit longer. As u might have noticed, these days I was not on the forum and not without a reason. I was sick and almost fainted at work (lol, I DO love adventure, huh?) therefore I'm recovering and I'm not really inspired nor in the mood to work...

I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine anymore what it's like to be sick.

Try not to drink blood for a loooong long time and you will see! Try weaks or months without even a sip of blood and you might feel sick too. Anyway, I;m fine now, thanks to some natural products... Thank you for your concern.

I've gone a long time without it when I was sunk very deeply into depression before. But I'm certain it's not the same thing. You don't get that nausea that you get when sick. Mostly you become very weak, and the pain is like chopping off your arm. That's the closest thing I can relate it to.
Lately I've been doing my best to have more human contact. I talk to lots of different people at the places I go, but only for small bits of time. It doesn't normally take a person too long before they start noticing the things that are strange about me. That makes it difficult to talk too long. A lot of people I talk to begin to look uneasy and then all-out uncomfortable when I spend too much time talking to them. It's interesting to watch it happen in their faces, too. First they look friendly, then they start giving me the once-over, like they know something is wrong but they can't figure out what. Then I can tell they begin wondering why I'm talking to them and they start thinking I'm up to no good. Then they really start fidgeting and looking like they'd rather be anywhere else. That's usually when I end the conversation and move on. Sometimes it's fun to push people to their limits, just the ones that I find particularly arrogant or annoying. They just really start to get uncomfortable, and I find that funny. They've no idea how close they are to death when talking to me, and that's amusing. Not that I'd ever hurt them, of course. But it's like playing with fire, you know what I mean? Anyway, it's still no substitute for a meaningful friendship. I just haven't worked up to that yet. I know I'm slow, but when tragedy follows you around it can be difficult to take that next step. Anyway, at least I'm trying.
Still waiting for your surprise, lost maiden!

Hello? Are you guys going to shun me, too? I wrote the reply above this a long time ago and haven't gotten anything. You remember when you asked me about music, lost maiden? Lately I've been really interested in this song, because I think it's a message I need to listen to a little more closely, about surviving what I can't change. It's a message you've tried to tell me many times, and I think this song exemplifies it. Anyway, you may like it since it's advice you're always giving me. Plus, the video it's set to is Anime, and I know you're into that. youtube.com/watch?v=FtzWHtYAAcw

sorry to have kept you waiting for my response! That anime from the clip is really cool! I saw the whole series, but haven;t saw the movie yet. Moop is an anime fan just like me. In fact, we met on an anime forum, the best ever. Unfortunately that forum died, because the owner did something illegal. By the way, the song is really really cool!^^ Here is the pic you have been waiting for. Tell me what I did wrong... After I drew you I thought the hairstyle looks a bit like Edward scissorhands', but shorter. Lol! Anyway, here it is!

I'm speechless, love! That picture looks uncannily like me. Although I can't remember when the last time I wore a tie was. I'm addicted to button-ups and tee shirts. But you really got me down. I guess I just have hair like Edward Scissorhands. Laughter.
Thank you for posting that. And thank you for checking out that song.
You should sign your work. As such a neat artist, it's important that you put your signature on everything you draw. I love it! I'm going to print it out and carry it in my pocket.

It is kind of a quiet place, you're right. Am I not allowed to print your drawing?
Have you ever added color to them or do you prefer black and white?
