I think there may be a misunderstanding here, Jake. You see, Selene is a blood drinker and a 'living vampire'. She may be amused because she thinks your some lonely geek behind a computer screen 'pretending' to be a 'real vampire'. *wink wink*
I'll message her privately and explain.

Laughter. I see. I'm sure when she understands the strange circumstances of my "birth" it will begin to make sense.

By the way, Jake, are you acquainted with the television series True Blood? As I started watching it the character of Bill Compton keeps reminding me of you in some circumstances...

I have heard of it, but I haven't seen any episodes, love. How does this character compare?
Interesting that vampires have become "fashionable" these days, don't you think? Years ago we were kind of ignored, and then suddenly we exploded back into popularity.
Do you feel proud that you and the other members of this forum (and the one previously) were interested in vampirism before it became "cool"? Laughter.

I hate it when things I like become 'fashions' and such... I am true to my style and to myself and I do not care about the amateurs that only like vampires because they made movies with them and books that are easily read. But if they really like vampires, then they should at least start reading REAL books, like Anne Rice's and others with a more complex structure.
